We were delighted to welcome Callum Anderson MP, PPS to the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT), for a roundtable on productive finance.

The discussion touched on the role of productive finance within Labour’s economic growth mission, how the financial services industry can contribute to the upcoming Industrial Strategy, and how capital markets can be mobilised to deliver the Government’s economic vision.

Participants discussed how the UK’s political stability and certainty could become Britain’s USP, and provide opportunities for investment and policy leadership. The roundtable also emphasised the need for policy clarity on the productive finance agenda, in order to facilitate investment into the UK’s high-growth sectors and assets.
