Cicero Group signs HM Treasury’s Women in Finance charter

Cicero Group has become the first corporate communications agency to sign HM Treasury’s Women in Finance charter.

Having signed the charter, Cicero pledges to promote gender diversity by having a member of the senior executive team who is responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion, setting internal targets for gender diversity in senior management, publishing progress annually against these targets in reports on our website, and ensuring that the pay of the senior executive team is linked to delivery against these internal targets.

Judith Becker, Executive Director, Cicero Group, said: “Cicero Group is very proud to be a signatory of this charter from the start and we look forward to setting ambitious targets for the company and working towards achieving them going forward.”

The charter follows a review by Jayne-Anne Gadhia, CEO, Virgin Money, into the representation of women in senior managerial positions in financial services. Cicero is one of the 72 organisations to sign the charter, alongside companies including Aberdeen Asset Management, Credit Suisse, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, PwC and Santander.
