Cicero Group hosts first charity training day, putting business best practice into action for small charities

Last week, Cicero Group was delighted to host its first ever charity training day. We welcomed representatives from nine charities including Chamos – Cicero’s charity of the year – and organisations nominated by individuals throughout the company.

Led by Cicero’s Social Committee, the training focussed on best practice workshops in pubic affairs, communications and social media. Putting the day’s learning into practice, the charity representatives then broke out into small groups to put together a communications plan for a small charity launching its new sporting and arts hubs around the UK. Wrapping up the day, individuals from a cross-section of the business convened an ‘ask me anything panel’ covering the entirety of Cicero’s practice.

Commenting on the training day, charity representatives who attended said:

I wanted to take a moment to thank you, on behalf of Orchestra Vitae, for the amazing opportunity to attend Thursday’s workshop. It was truly informative and helpful, and I managed to make some very helpful connections with other charitable organisations which I hope to follow up on.

Pablo, Orchestra Vitae

Please extend a massive thank you to your team for yesterday. One of the things I valued most about the agency life was the collective power of everyone’s individual brain and experience. Thank you for creating a day where we all could experience the collective power of Cicero.

Colleen, Little Mermaids

I really enjoyed the workshop. It provided many useful tools and information. Thank you so much for including Chamos and it was also great to meet other charities.

Adriana, Chamos
