John is a Managing Director in the UK Public Affairs team at H/Advisors Cicero. Bringing 15 years' experience, he specialises in advising blue-chip companies in complex and highly-regulated markets. He also leads H/Advisors Cicero's political risk analysis, writing and speaking regularly on the intersection of politics and markets.
John joined as a graduate in 2006. He headed H/Advisors Cicero's office Washington D.C. from 2010-2013, working on US Wall Street reform and a global campaign to introduce a standard to help eliminate conflict gold from the supply chain.
After returning to London, John joined the board and was part of the management team that built H/Advisors Cicero into the U.K's top ranked public affairs team by revenue (PR Week figures) and then to successful sale to global communications giant Havas in 2020.
In a voluntary capacity he is Vice President of Churches Mutual, which is one of the nation’s most significant ecumenical institutions and is a member of the Company of Communicators, the City livery company for communications professionals. He holds a BSc in Government from LSE and an MSc from the UCL School of Public Policy.
